Why Accounti Exists

Finance is usually the last function to get senior ownership and the first to be tested. Founders build product and revenue. Funds build portfolios. In both, the finance underneath tends to be assembled from parts, held together informally, and only examined closely when a fundraise, an exit, or an audit forces the question. We built Accounti to own that finance and keep it ready as a matter of course, so the examination is never the thing that catches you out.

What We Are, and What We Are Not

We are finance operators, not consultants. We take ownership of correctness and completeness, and we do not sell advice by the hour. We are not an accounting firm or a bookkeeping service. We are not a fractional CFO. We are not a software product. We are the layer that makes sure the finance work, whoever does it, holds up when it counts.
